Joy Peyton is the ultimate bookworm who, if she'd had her way, would have born with a book in her hands. Her interests are varying and many, and if it contains words she'll likely read it. For some odd reason, she has aspirations of working in the publishing industry preferably as an editor, but she'll dust books for living (maybe) as long as she's able to work around the written word.

She's a graduate from Howard University with a degree in English and Classical Civilization. She enjoys watching horror movies, collecting bookmarks, eating buffalo wings, and reading books, talking about books, writing about books, and buying books (even though she can't afford it). If you'd like to talk with her about books, give her books (please feel free, anytime), or share with her any of your literary-related news or musings, she can be reached at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it . She can also be found rambling about what she's reading, loving and hating at  BiblioAddict. Reader, beware.

Danielle Hatchett
had no choice but to fall in love with the written word. She was named after her mother’s favorite author at the time, Danielle Steele. Yet, for some odd reason, she still used to get in trouble for reading under the covers with a flashlight after bedtime.

Over the years, that passion has led her to the completion of a yet unpublished young adult novel, a stint as a feature writer at The Newark Star Ledger, a Masters in English, and shelves of to-be-read books that she refuses to stop adding to.

Currently, she works as an IT Project Manager for a government agency (don’t ask), which has led to the discovery of a deep interest in the marriage of technology / web and literature. She manages the MySpace presence for The BackList and blogs about literary and publishing news and the occasional book or author interview.

She has a wide variety (read: too many) of other interests including traveling to places that require a stamp on her passport, photography, black art, independent films, collecting coffee table books, wine and martini tasting, and boisterously cheering on or jeering at her football and basketball teams. Danielle blogs about her passion for music over at Songs In The Key of Life.
